Salumi Coati: Italian Flavour Meets Innovation with Topping Pizza
At the Festival of Italian Cuisine in Switzerland, the Veronese company unveils its new range of pre-sliced cured meats for pizza professionals, combining convenience, quality and creativity.
«Everything acquires a unique flavour when given time»: this is the slogan chosen by Salumi Coati, a company based in Pescantina, with production facilities also in Parma and Sandrà (Verona) and Food Sponsor of the Italian Cuisine Festival in Switzerland, to present its business. Today, the company is led by members of the third generation of the family, siblings Beatrice, Gianpaolo and Federica.
Salumi Coati is one of the partners of the Festival of Italian Cuisine in Switzerland. In particular, the company will launch its new Topping Pizza range in the Swiss market: a selection of pre-sliced cured meats designed specifically for pizza professionals.
«These are practical, versatile, ready-to-use products developed to combine quality with faster preparation times and results that meet consumer expectations», explains Anna Baccarini, Marketing Manager at Salumi Coati. «Topping Pizza requires no additional preparation, as the products are designed to go straight into the oven. They are ready to use and help eliminate food waste».
In short, the range helps significantly reduce preparation times. «Exactly. Each product is sliced and packaged, with every slice precisely calibrated. This also reduces the costs associated with employing staff specifically for slicing».
The range comprises six products: «Spicy Cupping Sausage, Spicy Sausage Crumble, ’Nduja Crumble, Mild Julienne Salami, Spicy Julienne Salami and Spicy Sliced Sausage. This range is designed to give pizza chefs new creative possibilities, allowing them to diversify their menus while preserving both creativity and flavour».
Listening to the professionals who use its products has always been essential to the company’s approach. «This is something Salumi Coati has always valued, and it has helped us become a trusted partner for pizza chefs, starting with our Blu cooked ham. Our company history confirms this: we believe it is essential to engage directly with the professionals who will ultimately use our products».
The fact that Topping Pizza is making its debut at a festival dedicated to Italian cuisine abroad is also significant. «We are proud to take part in this event in Switzerland, which will allow us to work alongside partners such as Maistà, a distribution company we have been collaborating with for several years. We will also bring some of our flagship products to the festival, including our Alta Qualità cooked ham and Milano salami. It will be an opportunity to showcase Italy’s pizza scene and promote Italian-made products within the foodservice sector».
